Caregiver Co-Pilot ("we," "us," or "our") helps family caregivers navigate the care
of a loved one. We know the information involved is deeply personal, and we treat it
with care. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices
you have.
Information we collect
Account information: the email address you use to create an account
and sign in.
Information you choose to provide: the content you enter into the
app to make it useful to you — for example, documents you upload (such as photos or
scans), medications and supplements, conditions, appointments, journal entries,
insurance and situation details, and your conversations with the AI Caregiver Guide.
Basic technical data: limited information needed to operate and
secure the app, such as authentication tokens.
You are always in control of what you enter. You do not have to provide any particular
information to use the app.
How we use your information
To provide the app's features — storing your documents, lists, and notes, and
keeping you signed in.
To generate responses from the AI Caregiver Guide. When you send a message to the
Guide, it is transmitted to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to produce a reply.
To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
How your information is stored and protected
Your data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, and is protected by per-user
access controls so that your information is accessible only to your account. Data is
transmitted over encrypted connections.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share
information only with the service providers that help us operate the app.
Supabase — secure database and file storage.
Anthropic — the AI that powers the Caregiver Guide. Under
Anthropic's commercial API terms, messages processed through the API are not used to
train its models.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and
rights of our users.
Your choices and rights
You can view, edit, and delete the information you enter — documents, medications,
appointments, journal entries, and more — directly in the app.
You may request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us at
the email below.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access or delete your
personal information. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.
A note about health information
Caregiver Co-Pilot is a consumer support and organization tool. It is not a healthcare
provider, not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice, and is
not a HIPAA-covered entity. The guidance it offers is general in nature. Always confirm
decisions with your loved one's providers, and in an emergency call 911.
Children
The app is intended for adult family caregivers (18 and older). It is not directed to
children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the
"last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
